Striped milk glass salt and pepper shakers , Hazel Atlas beehive. According to Glass Encyclopedia, Hazel-Atlas Glass Company was formed when two plants (Hazel and Atlas) merged in Washington, PA in 1902. Collectors Weekly states that Hazel-Atlas was once the large glass manufacturer in the world. By the 1920s, there was hardly a home in America that did not have some sort of Hazel-Atlas glass in it! Platonite was introduced in 1936, so this set likely dates to somewhere in the late 1930s to 1940s era.
